We regularly check with SEPTA to make sure we can load the Key Advantage pass onto your Key Card at the end of each month. The most common issue is an invalid Key Card.
What does it mean?
An invalid Key Card means that the Card Reference ID that was submitted in your Jawnt enrollment application is not in SEPTA's database. The Card Reference ID is case sensitive and extremely prone to typos, so the issue is likely a typo.
How do I fix it?
Log in to your Jawnt account at app.jawntpass.com
Under the SEPTA Key Advantage enrolled benefit, click Edit
Scroll down to the Details section and click Card Reference ID.
Erase the old Card Reference ID and Paste your new Card Reference ID.
Your new Card Reference ID should be Copied directly from your SEPTAKey.org account.
If you need help finding your Card Reference ID, click here.
Click Save.
You should now see your new Card Reference ID under the Details section.
Please take note of the date that these changes will go into effect.
Click Update enrollment on the bottom of the page.
This will bring you back to the My Benefits page, where you can see the status of your changes.
How will I know if my new Card Reference ID is accepted?
If it is still invalid, you will receive another email from us within 1-2 business days.
If you do not hear from us, then you're all set! Look out for an email from us at the end of the month confirming that the pass has been loaded to your card.
