This summer, Philadelphia is hosting the FIFA World Cup, meaning busier trains, fuller platforms, and occasional service changes on game days (June 14–July 4). Here's how to stay a step ahead with the SEPTA app.
1. Download the Official SEPTA App Search for the SEPTA app in the Apple App Store or Google Play. Make sure it's the one with the SEPTA logo.
2. Favorite Your Routes
Open the app and go to the Nearby tab
Find your regular stop or station and tap the ⭐️ to favorite it
Your favorited stops will appear on your home screen for quick access
3. Check Alerts Before You Ride
From your home screen or any route view, tap Alerts to see current service advisories, detours, and delays
This is especially important on match days: June 14, 19, 22, 27, and July 4
4. Use "Next to Arrive" for Real-Time Updates
Tap Schedules, select your route and direction, and tap Next to Arrive for live departure times
